Jakarta — PT Astra International Tbk is inviting homebound travellers to stop at several Astra Sejahtera Villages as an alternative rest destination en route, whilst enjoying various Astra Alert Post services.

“The presence of Astra Sejahtera Villages along the homebound route not only provides a comfortable and educational alternative stopover destination for travellers, but also drives economic growth of the local community,” said Astra Director Thomas Junaidi Alim Wijaya in a written statement received in Jakarta on Sunday.

He stated that Astra Sejahtera Villages is a community empowerment initiative programme offering diverse local potential including agriculture development clusters, fisheries, and authentic cultural crafts tourism.

He invited homebound travellers to visit these Astra-assisted villages so they can rest during their journey home whilst gaining a unique and educational stopover experience.

Beyond providing an attractive stopover experience, Thomas said his company also ensures smooth travel for the community through the integrated Astra Group service collaboration in the Astra Siaga Lebaran 2026 programme, involving dozens of subsidiary companies.

Astra Daihatsu, Astra Isuzu, Auto2000, BMW Astra, Astra Motor, Astra Honda Motor, Astra UD Trucks, Lexus Sales Operation, FIF Group, OLXMobbi, Garda Oto, Astra Credit Companies, Toyota Astra Financial Services, Bank Saqu, Astralife, AstraPay, AstraOtopower, Astra Infra, Halodoc, Heartology, and AstraWorld are involved in the programme.

He stated that this collaboration provides various facilities for customers, including Astra Alert Posts and Astra Alert Workshops ready to provide quick vehicle repair services for both two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles.

For two-wheeled vehicle users, PT Astra Honda Motor (Astra Motor) is preparing Honda Bale Santai facilities comprising Honda Mudik Posts, AHASS Alert+ and AHASS Alert, which can be utilised by two-wheeled riders to rest and receive light vehicle maintenance.

Beyond vehicle technical services, the company also addresses the health aspect of homebound travellers through the Garda Healthtech product from Astra Insurance, offering online health consultation benefits on Halodoc, medicine purchases, and death or disability compensation from accidents valued at Rp25 million.

“Through this synergy, Astra presents added value to the homebound journey that is not only safe and comfortable, but also meaningful,” said Thomas.
