Astra Group has launched the “Astra Siaga Lebaran 2026” programme to ensure safe and smooth travel during the homecoming season this year. The 15-year programme deploys thousands of technicians and various integrated service facilities across key national mudik routes.

The Kick Off ceremony for Astra Siaga Lebaran 2026 was held in Jakarta on Friday, 13 March 2026, attended by Astra President Director Djony Bunarto Tjondro and the group’s board of directors. The programme is designed to provide reassurance for homebound travellers using both four-wheeled and two-wheeled vehicles.

Astra Director Thomas Junaidi Alim Wijaya stated that this service represents the company’s genuine contribution in supporting safe, comfortable, and secure journeys during mudik season.

“Through various services deployed along major routes, we hope travellers can undertake their journeys more safely, comfortably, and peacefully,” Thomas said in a statement on Friday, 13 March 2026.

To support traveller mobility, Astra has deployed 600 car technicians and 1,092 Honda motorcycle technicians. Four-wheeled vehicle services will run from 17–24 March 2026, encompassing 132 Service Posts, 14 Help Posts, and dozens of 24-hour emergency assistance fleets from Garda Siaga and AstraWorld. Additionally, three electric vehicle charging stations (SPKLU) are being readied for electric car users.

Meanwhile, two-wheeler services are available from 19–28 March 2026 through 12 Honda Mudik Posts, 163 AHASS Service Points, and 240 Honda CARE mobile units ready to provide roadside assistance.

Thomas explained that Astra Help Posts are located at several critical points including Palembang, Lampung, Merak, Cikampek, Cipali, Salatiga, and Bali. The facilities offered are varied, ranging from vehicle light servicing, free health checks in collaboration with RS Hermina, free WiFi, to comfortable rest areas.

From an infrastructure perspective, ASTRA Infra predicts that 6.8 million vehicles will traverse its managed toll roads, up 2.1 per cent compared to the previous year. To anticipate this surge, ASTRA Infra has deployed more than 800 personnel and 500 integrated CCTV units to monitor traffic flow for 24 hours.

This year, Astra is also introducing added value through free outpatient health insurance protection from Garda Healthtech of Astra Insurance for visitors to Service Posts. Additionally, travellers are encouraged to visit Desa Sejahtera Astra (Astra Prosperity Village), which is located along mudik routes to promote local economic growth based on agricultural cluster and tourism potential.
