Astra CMG Life 'Making a difference in life'

Astra CMG Life, a joint-venture partnership between the Astra
Group (Indonesia) and the Colonial Group (Australia), currently
has 12 sales offices in eight major Indonesian cities: five
locations in Jakarta, and one in Bandung, Surabaya, Malang,
Banjarmasin, Medan, Palembang and Lampung.

This business network will be extended gradually to cover all
areas of Indonesia.

ACMGL, based on the Dewan Asuransi Indonesia Report on life
insurance as at Dec. 31, 1996, is seen as a TOP 10 life insurance
company in Indonesia based on new individual premium income.

In 1997, the total premium income of Astra CMG Life was RP
41.2 billion, an increase of 65 percent compared to the previous
year.

Total paid-up capital has now reached Rp 45.5 billion, with
total assets over Rp 150 billion.
