Astra Agro Wins Two Awards at Lamandau Investor Gathering for Supporting Development
The Lamandau Regency Government held the Lamandau Regency Investor Gathering 2026 in Jakarta in July 2026. The event served as a strategic forum to strengthen synergy between the local government and business actors in promoting a healthy, sustainable investment climate that benefits regional development.
The Investor Gathering was attended by officials from the Lamandau Regency Government, the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), business actors, and investors operating in Lamandau Regency.
Lamandau Regent Rizky A Putra expressed appreciation to all companies that have made tangible contributions to regional development through responsible investment, regulatory compliance, and the implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes.
"The synergy that has been established can continue to be strengthened to create a conducive investment climate, encourage regional economic growth, and improve the welfare of the people of Lamandau Regency," Rizky said.
Director of Region II at the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM, Rita, S.Kom., invited all investors to continue playing an active role in regional development through productive, inclusive, and sustainable investment. She noted that close collaboration between the government and the business world is key to achieving national investment targets while supporting the government’s priority programmes in driving economic growth, job creation, and industrial downstreaming across various regions.
The Investor Gathering 2026 also served as an occasion to present awards to companies demonstrating a high commitment to supporting Lamandau Regency’s development through regulatory compliance and the implementation of sustainable business practices.
At the event, PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk, through its subsidiary PT Nirmala Agro Lestari (NAL), won two awards, including the TOP CSR Award Kabupaten Lamandau 2026. The palm oil plantation company was appreciated for its contribution to implementing social responsibility programmes that benefit the community.
PT NAL was also awarded for its obedience and compliance in submitting Domestic Investment Activity Reports (PMDN), reflecting the company’s commitment to fulfilling investment reporting obligations on time and in accordance with applicable regulations.
This achievement reflects the company’s commitment to responsible investment, upholding the principles of Good Corporate Governance, and creating sustainable added value for the community, government, and all stakeholders.
