Astra Accelerates Digital Transformation Through Innovation Competition
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Astra is once again organising the digital innovation competition and technology conference titled “Astranauts 2026” to tackle real business challenges and deliver impact for Indonesia’s digital economy.
“Astranauts 2026 reflects Astra’s commitment to focusing on scalability. We are not just talking about prototypes, but how those solutions can be adopted by businesses, improve efficiency, and create value for businesses,” said Astra’s Chief of Group Digital Strategy, Paul Soegianto, in a written statement received in Jakarta on Saturday.
Paul explained that the programme aims to find solutions to various business challenges within the Astra Group, as well as to present digital solutions that are not only technologically innovative but also able to enhance efficiency and provide real impact for Indonesian industry and society.
In addition, Astranauts features a Cross-Industry Challenge seeking innovative solutions that can contribute to eight areas: Automotive & Mobility, Financial Services, Heavy Equipment, Mining, Construction & Energy, Agribusiness, Infrastructure, Information Technology, Property, and Health.
He said the Astranauts 2026 competition is open to two participant categories: Product Track, for companies or startups that already have a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and traction; and Idea Track, for active undergraduate and postgraduate students, who are expected to provide innovative ideas to solve the given business challenges.
Finalists also have the opportunity to collaborate with the Astra Group, secure internship opportunities (for students), and win cash prizes.
As part of the awarding sessions, Astranauts 2026 also hosts the Astranauts Conference, an interactive discussion featuring experts from various industries to address current trends and challenges, with engaging speakers such as Gita Wirjawan, Raditya Dika, Anthony Amni, Gaery Undarsa, Daniel Minardi, and others.
Involving not only various Astra Group companies, Astranauts 2026 also includes external companies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Berca Hardayaperkasa, and others.
“Astra’s commitment to strengthening Indonesia’s technology and digital ecosystem through Astranauts aligns with the aspiration for shared prosperity for the nation and supports the achievement of Indonesia’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs),” he stated.
