Aston Pluit Hotel & Residence and favehotel Pluit Junction Launch "Aston & Fave Berbagi" Initiative to Strengthen Community Bonds During Ramadan
In the spirit of togetherness during the holy month of Ramadan, Aston Pluit Hotel & Residence and favehotel Pluit Junction organised a corporate social responsibility initiative titled “Aston & Fave Berbagi” with the theme “Together Sharing, Together Inspiring.” The initiative took place on 10–11 March 2026 at the Ballroom of Aston Pluit Hotel & Residence in North Jakarta. Combining an internal General Staff Meeting agenda with social activities, “Aston & Fave Berbagi” served as an opportunity to strengthen relationships between management, employees, the owning group, and the community surrounding the hotel.
“Aston & Fave Berbagi became a gathering place between management, staff, the owning group, and the surrounding community. We wanted this Ramadan momentum not only to be felt internally, but also to bring togetherness with our surrounding environment,” said Ayub Zailani, Cluster General Manager of Aston Pluit Hotel & Residence and favehotel Pluit Junction.
The hotel invited two local communities to participate: the Indo Salto Community and Panti Asuhan Cikal Cendekia Salsabilah orphanage. Indo Salto is a community of talented children from Kampung Pluit Dalam III who develop skills in acrobatics, capoeira, gymnastics, and tumbling, with some members preparing for national-level competitions. Meanwhile, Panti Asuhan Cikal Cendekia Salsabilah is active in training and education programmes for children from underprivileged families in the North Jakarta coastal area.
Ibu Qalbi Yanti, Director of Human Resources at Aston Pluit Hotel & Residence, emphasised that involving local communities was an important part of the initiative. “We wanted to provide a space for local communities to interact and showcase their potential. Through this initiative, we hope to support and empower the communities growing around our hotel,” she explained.
The programme included the opening of the General Staff Meeting, Islamic teachings and Ramadan sermons, acrobatic performances by Indo Salto children, and communal iftar. Children from the Indo Salto community were also given the opportunity to experience an overnight stay at Aston Pluit Hotel & Residence, followed by a shared sahur (pre-dawn meal) before the initiative concluded the following day.
Through “Aston & Fave Berbagi,” Aston Pluit Hotel & Residence and favehotel Pluit Junction hope to continue building harmonious relationships with the surrounding community whilst fostering the spirit of sharing and togetherness that represent core values during the month of Ramadan.
