Assets Under Management Surpass Rp6 Trillion Through Differentiation and Market Expansion
Five years since entering the Indonesian investech industry, BMoney has strengthened its position as one of the country’s leading digital investment platforms. Starting with a community empowerment initiative through a network of retail kiosks in 2020, the company officially launched its digital investment services in 2021 and has since evolved into an integrated investech platform with a comprehensive licence portfolio. As a commitment to regulatory compliance and investor protection, BMoney holds official licences from the Financial Services Authority (OJK), including an Mutual Fund Selling Agent licence, a Government Securities Distribution Partner licence, and operational permits for stock and digital gold transactions. Chief Executive Officer Angganata Sebastian said this regulatory support is reinforced through strategic partnerships with dozens of investment managers, gold liquidity providers, and national banking institutions. “This collaboration enables BMoney to offer hundreds of investment instrument choices within a single application that is secure, integrated, and easily accessible to the public,” Angganata stated. Investor confidence in the BMoney ecosystem is reflected in significant business growth, with total assets under management now exceeding Rp6 trillion. This growth is supported by more than one million retail investors from across Indonesia. Beyond the retail segment, BMoney has also strengthened its position among high-net-worth individuals through its BMoney Privilege service, building a strong base of premium clients and becoming a key player in the national fintech sector. Positive performance in both retail and premium segments has driven business sustainability, with the company achieving profitability in the 2025 financial year. Amid increasingly fierce industry competition, Angganata said the company differentiates itself through a premium service approach that adopts the concept of priority banking within a digital ecosystem. Through a loyalty points programme in the BMoney Privilege service, clients can accumulate points from investment activities and redeem them for exclusive benefits, including domestic airport taxi services through a partnership with Golden Bird, airport transport services in Sydney, Tokyo, and Singapore, personal tax consultations, and exclusive health check-ups with Prodia. Beyond digital services, the premium experience is also realised through BMoney Privilege Private Lounges. After opening lounges in Jakarta and Bandung, the company expanded its personalised services by inaugurating a third Private Lounge in Surabaya in 2026. Looking ahead, BMoney is committed to expanding its market reach and enriching its product choices through an inclusive growth strategy. Angganata said the company will continue developing both the retail and HNWI segments as part of a mutually supportive ecosystem. According to Angganata, the retail segment contributes business scale, user engagement, and long-term growth potential, while the HNWI segment brings trust, credibility, and stronger monetisation opportunities. “These two segments are not meant to be pitted against each other, but rather to complement one another. They are part of a connected ecosystem that can grow together,” he concluded.
