JAKARTA — A judicial panel has ordered the seizure of assets belonging to Kerry Muhammad Kerry Adrianto Riza, son of fugitive Mohamad Riza Chalid, who has been sentenced to 15 years imprisonment.

This was announced during the sentencing hearing of Kerry at the Jakarta Corruption Court on Friday, 27 February 2026, in the early morning hours.

“Confiscated for the state,” stated Chief Judge Fajar Kusuma Aji during the hearing on Friday.

Kerry allegedly enriched himself by Rp2.9 trillion in the case, causing state losses valued at Rp285.18 trillion.

This was carried out by Kerry, as the beneficial owner of PT Navigator Khatulistiwa, when arranging the rental of three vessels belonging to PT Jenggala Maritim Nusantara (JMN) as well as the leasing activities of the Merak Fuel Terminal (TBBM).

“The court finds the defendant Kerry has been proven beyond reasonable doubt to be guilty of committing corruption offences jointly, as stated in the primary indictment,” said the Chief Judge on Friday, 27 February 2026.
