PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) has transferred its asset management subsidiary to PT Danantara Asset Management. The transaction, signed on 1 April 2026, involves transferring two subsidiaries: PT BRI Manajemen Investasi and PT PNM Investment Management.

“On 1 April 2026, PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM), as a controlled entity of BRI, has signed a Conditional Share Purchase Agreement (PJBB) with PT Danantara Asset Management for the planned purchase of 109,999 shares of PNM IM owned by PNM, resulting in the takeover of PNM IM,” explained BRI Corporate Secretary Dhanny in a disclosure to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) on Thursday (2/4/2026).

Meanwhile, the transaction value for the transfer of shares in BRI Manajemen Investasi is Rp 975 billion. This value is for purchasing 19.5 million shares with a nominal value of Rp 1,000 per share. The number of shares equates to 65% of the total paid-up and issued capital of BRI IM.

“On 1 April 2026, BRI and PT Danantara Asset Management have signed a PJBB for the planned purchase of 19,500,000 shares of PT BRI Manajemen Investasi owned by BRI,” Dhanny wrote in the disclosure.

The total value of this affiliated transaction is Rp 1.3 trillion. The share transfer aligns with Danantara’s plan to merge asset managers from its subsidiaries BRI, Bank Mandiri, and BNI.
