In a rapidly changing world, the need for legal professionals is growing and diversifying. While widely known as a ‘Creative Digital Campus’ excelling in technology and holding an ‘Excellent’ accreditation, Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika (UBSI) also houses a Faculty of Law that prepares future legal practitioners, business professionals, and diplomats. The Faculty of Law offers three relevant study programmes: Law, Business Law, and International Relations. These programmes are designed to equip students with critical, analytical, and communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of various legal, business, and global issues. UBSI Rector Mochamad Wahyudi stated that technological developments, the business world, and international relations are driving an increased need for professionals with a comprehensive understanding of law. He noted that the modern workplace requires graduates who not only understand theory but can also view problems from multiple perspectives and provide appropriate solutions. Wahyudi added that studying law today goes beyond memorising articles; students must also understand business dynamics, digital technology developments, data protection, dispute resolution, and global issues affecting society. The Law programme is available at the Margonda, Kramat, and Kaliabang campuses with morning and afternoon classes, while the Cikarang campus offers afternoon and evening classes for those needing a more flexible schedule. With experienced lecturers, an adaptive curriculum, and a learning environment close to industry developments, the faculty aims to prepare students for careers as lawyers, legal officers, mediators, legal consultants, government officials, and diplomats.
