Aspiration Resolution Achieved, SPBUN-SGN Appreciates DPR's Role

The Serikat Pekerja Perkebunan Nusantara PT Sinergi Gula Nusantara (SPBUN-SGN) visited the parliament complex in Senayan, Jakarta, to express appreciation for the mediation process facilitated by the House of Representatives (DPR). The meeting, held on Wednesday (29/7/2026), was received by Deputy Speaker Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Chair of Commission VI Anggia Ermarini, and Commission VI member Nasim Khan. The mediation successfully reached an agreement on employee aspirations, particularly regarding bonuses and standard harmonisation, with the results now being followed up by management. Chair of Commission VI Anggia Ermarini stated that communication between employees and management was facilitated to find the best solution for all parties. ‘This resolution is good news for SGN employees. Their aspirations have been received and are being processed by management,’ Anggia said. SPBUN-SGN Chairman M Rofi thanked Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Anggia Ermarini, and Nasim Khan for their role in helping resolve the workers’ aspirations. ‘We hope the results of this agreement will benefit all SGN employees,’ Rofi said. Following the agreement, workers expressed their readiness to improve performance and support the national sugar self-sufficiency and energy security programmes. The DPR reaffirmed its commitment to providing a platform for aspirations and bridging communication to ensure the best solutions for public issues.
