ASLC Anticipates Increased Demand for Used Cars Ahead of Eid 2026
PT Autopedia Sukses Lestari Tbk (ASLC) projects increased demand for used cars ahead of the Eid holiday travel season in 2026, as the public seeks reliable and affordable personal transportation options.
The company operates vehicle auctions (JBA), retail sales of used cars (Caroline.id), and pawn services (MotoGadai). ASLC anticipates that the traditional Eid holiday journey (mudik) and increased mobility during the festive period will drive demand for used vehicles. Historically, this seasonal momentum has consistently contributed positively to company sales.
In preparation, ASLC has strengthened the availability of quality and competitively priced vehicles across various Caroline.id showroom locations. This ensures that consumers have multiple options for used vehicles ahead of Ramadan and Eid. The company is also optimising its digital platform and secure online-to-offline network. Each used vehicle undergoes rigorous inspection to ensure engine condition and documentation are in order, providing consumers with confidence during holiday travel.
ASLC’s JBA auction unit is capitalising on this momentum by strengthening vehicle supply and expanding digital auction access. As occurs annually, activity in vehicle auctions typically increases ahead of Eid as dealers and business operators seek to meet rising market demand.
Overall, ASLC sees bright business prospects for 2026, based on strong market fundamentals. Jany Candra, President Director of PT Autopedia Sukses Lestari, stated: “It is clear that used cars remain a rational alternative amid selective purchasing power. Used cars offer more affordable prices than new vehicles whilst providing varied options suited to consumer needs.”
With these positive prospects, ASLC targets double-digit sales growth throughout 2026. Confidence in achieving this target strengthens through continuous network expansion strategy and optimisation of the company’s omnichannel ecosystem for used car sales, along with readiness to capitalise on seasonal opportunities such as the approaching Eid period.
Performance data from 2025 supports this optimism. By the third quarter, ASLC recorded revenue growth of 15 percent year-on-year to Rp713.0 billion with net profit of Rp33.9 billion.
“By maintaining quality through rigorous inspection processes and offering transparent pricing and vehicle condition information, ASLC focuses on sustainable growth and business profitability,” Candra added.
