Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Jaminan Pembiayaan Askrindo Syariah (Askrindo Syariah) has launched a book on sharia financing guarantees titled ‘Akselerasi UMKM Menuju Ekonomi Berkeadilan’ as part of efforts to strengthen sharia financial literacy.

Acting President Director of Askrindo Syariah, Aviantono Yudiharianto, explained in a written statement on Monday that the company recognises the success of the sharia financial industry is not solely determined by business growth and service innovation.

“Adequate improvement in literacy, education, and understanding is also needed so that the public, business actors, academics, and practitioners can comprehend the strategic role of sharia financing guarantees in driving national sharia economic growth,” he said.

Through the book launch, Askrindo Syariah hopes to encourage a better shared understanding of the strategic role of the sharia guarantee industry, while strengthening collaboration and synergy in supporting national sharia economic growth.
