Askrindo Syariah Distributes 1,500 Basic Food Packages Throughout Ramadan

Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Jaminan Pembiayaan Askrindo Syariah (Askrindo Syariah) distributed 1,500 basic food packages to communities around its operational office environments and employees’ residential areas throughout Ramadan 1447 H. “We want to ensure that the presence of Askrindo Syariah provides benefits that can be felt by those in need,” said Director of Finance of Askrindo Syariah, Aviantono Yudihariadi, in a written statement in Jakarta on Monday. In addition to the distribution of basic food packages, Askrindo Syariah also collaborated with the Infaq Management Institution (LMI) in a programme to distribute Eid gifts. Through this collaboration, 300 Eid gift packages were distributed to beneficiaries in various regions, including Jakarta, East Java, Yogyakarta, South Sumatra, Riau Islands, Bali, Gorontalo, and South Kalimantan. The beneficiaries of the programme include underprivileged communities and Quran study teachers as a form of support for their roles within the community. This collaboration also serves as an effort to ensure that aid distribution is more targeted and on point. On the internal side, attention to employees is demonstrated through the organisation of the Free Group Homecoming Programme intended for all Askrindo Syariah personnel and their families. “All these activities represent the company’s social commitment to be present among the community and employees,” he added. Askrindo Syariah is Indonesia’s first sharia-based credit guarantee company, with the majority of shares owned by PT Asuransi Kredit Indonesia (Askrindo). Since 31 March 2020, Askrindo has officially joined the Insurance and Guarantee SOE Holding, Indonesia Financial Group (IFG).
