Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Asuransi Kredit Indonesia (Askrindo) has entered into a partnership for general insurance services with the West Java Provincial Board of the Indonesian Recreational Park Business Association (DPD PUTRI). The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was conducted through Askrindo’s Regional Office II in Bandung, with the collaboration focusing on general insurance products such as Tourist Personal Accident (PA), Property All Risk (PAR), and Public Liability (PL). Askrindo’s Business Director Budhi Novianto stated in a written comment in Jakarta on Wednesday that this partnership represents a strategic step in expanding Askrindo’s service reach, particularly in the tourism sector, which holds significant potential in West Java. West Java is recognised as a premier tourism destination with continuously growing micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (UMKM) that play a vital role in driving regional economic growth. “Through this partnership, we hope to deliver optimal insurance protection for business operators and tourists, while supporting the development of the tourism sector and UMKM in West Java,” said Budhi. He added that the collaboration also opens opportunities for future business development through various other insurance products. Askrindo and the West Java DPD PUTRI are committed to promoting the growth of the tourism sector and the regional economy through the provision of comprehensive insurance protection services. For context, Askrindo’s support for UMKM also includes guaranteeing People’s Business Credit (KUR) amounting to Rp114 trillion for two million micro, small, and medium-sized enterprise (UMKM) debtors throughout 2025. Meanwhile, Askrindo recorded net underwriting results of Rp1.28 trillion (unaudited) and gross premiums of Rp4.44 trillion (unaudited) in 2025.
