Askrindo Partners with Soppeng Regency Government to Expand Insurance Coverage to Regions

PT Asuransi Kredit Indonesia (Askrindo) is collaborating with the Regional Government of Soppeng Regency, South Sulawesi, in an effort to expand insurance coverage to the regions. The signing of the cooperation agreement between the two parties covers surety bond and general insurance services. “This collaboration is designed to provide comprehensive protection for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the Soppeng area, South Sulawesi,” said Askrindo Business Director Budhi Novianto in a written statement in Jakarta on Monday. Under this agreement, Askrindo will act as a strategic partner for the Soppeng Regency Government in mitigating project risks through surety bond products for various physical (infrastructure) and non-infrastructure development projects. Budhi added that the presence of special MSME protection products in this agreement is expected to serve as a strong economic cushion for local business actors. “With the productive assets of MSMEs protected from unexpected risks, the business climate in Soppeng Regency is projected to grow more stable and have higher competitiveness,” he said. Meanwhile, Askrindo Makassar Branch Manager Danny Supriyanto Aditya stated that this cooperation is a tangible manifestation of Askrindo’s presence in promoting a safer and more accountable regional business ecosystem. According to him, this synergy not only provides a sense of security for banks and service provider contractors in regional development but also ensures the sustainability of Soppeng’s MSME sector so that it can upgrade without worrying about the risk of loss. “Through the provision of prudent guarantee and general insurance services, Askrindo is ready to provide mutually beneficial added value,” he said. Going forward, Askrindo is committed to continuing to expand the reach of digital-based guarantee services in the South Sulawesi region, to ensure that the process of issuing guarantee certificates and claim services can run quickly, accurately, and transparently to fully support the success of the Soppeng Regency Government’s development programme.
