Askrindo Extends Aid to 550 Orphans in Ramadan Safari 1447 AH
PT Asuransi Kredit Indonesia (Askrindo) organised the Ramadan Safari 1447 Hijriah by distributing donations to 550 orphans in 11 cities within the company’s operating region. The activity forms part of its Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental, Social and Governance (TJSL) program and marks the 55th anniversary of Askrindo. The Ramadan Safari included breaking fast together and providing donations to orphans located around operational offices and 13 welfare foundation homes in various areas. The event involved the management and employees as a demonstration of unity and social concern by the company.
Askrindo’s Chief Executive, Fankar Umran, said the Ramadan Safari is a moment to reinforce the value of togetherness and increase social concern within the company. “The Ramadan Safari is an opportunity for us to share happiness and strengthen ties with the community. Through this programme, Askrindo wants to continue to provide benefits and nurture a spirit of care during Ramadan,” he said in a written statement on Wednesday (4/3/2026).
He noted that the event, themed “Spirit Al-Qur’an Mewujudkan Kinerja Unggul yang Berkelanjutan”, is not only an annual routine agenda but also part of the company’s efforts to build harmonious relations with communities around the operational areas.
He explained that the donations are expected to ease the needs of the orphans during Ramadan and to provide motivation in observing the holy month. “We hope the aid will not only reflect the company’s care but also bring encouragement and happiness to the orphans during Ramadan. The activity is part of Askrindo’s ongoing contribution to society in a sustainable manner,” he said.
He added that through the TJSL program, Askrindo is committed to delivering social activities that have real and sustainable impacts. The company continues to promote a culture of sharing within its internal environment while expanding benefits for the wider community.
The Ramadan Safari this year was conducted simultaneously in several cities within Askrindo’s operating regions. In addition to the donations, the event included religious talks (tausiyah) and joint prayers as a form of spiritual reflection for employees and management.
With the Ramadan Safari, Askrindo reaffirmed its commitment to not only focus on business performance but also strengthen the company’s social responsibilities. The Ramadan momentum and the company’s anniversary were used to deepen ties with the community and to foster empathy and solidarity within the company.
