Asep wins road race

JAKARTA (JP): Asep Hendro clocked 14 minutes and 8:61 seconds and won the second leg of the Bentoel International road race motorcycle championship at the Gazebo circuit, Bandung on Sunday.

With the win, 25-year-old Asep collected 40 points and maintained his lead. At the first leg in Jakarta, Asep also came in first in the tune-up 110cc with 20 points.

The third, fourth, fifth and sixth legs of the race will be held in Solo on April 29-30, in Surabaya on June 17-18, in Banjarmasin on Sept. 2-3 and in Palembang on Sept. 30 to Oct. 1 respectively. (arf)
