ASEAN readies gas plan

MANILA (AFP): A regional plan to develop and use natural gas
is being readied for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations
(ASEAN), the Philippine Energy Department says.

The 12-month study, funded by the European Commission, will
forecast potential natural gas supply and demand and analyze
pricing policies and other technical issues.

ASEAN groups Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand
and the Philippines.
