Several countries in Southeast Asia have recently raised fuel prices, a trend linked to geopolitical conflicts in the Middle East causing an increase in global crude oil prices. In Singapore, the average price of petrol reached US$2.393 per litre, or approximately Rp42,971, whilst diesel hit US$3.024 per litre, equivalent to Rp54,301. Like its regional neighbours, Indonesia has also adjusted the price of non-subsidised fuels through the state-owned enterprise PT Pertamina (Persero). For instance, Pertamax (RON 92) rose from Rp12,300 per litre to Rp16,250 per litre, and Pertamax Green 95 (RON 95) increased from Rp12,900 to Rp17,000 per litre. Meanwhile, subsidised fuel prices remain unchanged, with Pertalite fixed at Rp10,000 per litre and Biosolar at Rp6,800 per litre. Based on data from Global Petrol Prices as of 8 June 2026, average petrol prices per litre in other ASEAN nations were: Malaysia US$0.916 (Rp16,448), the Philippines US$1.234 (Rp22,158), Thailand US$1.610 (Rp28,910), Laos US$1.779 (Rp31,945), Cambodia US$1.546 (Rp27,761), and Myanmar US$1.397 (Rp25,085). The non-subsidised Pertamina fuel price list effective 10 June 2026 confirms Pertamax Turbo (RON 98) remained at Rp20,750 per litre, Dexlite (CN 51) at Rp23,000 per litre, and Pertamina Dex (CN 53) at Rp24,800 per litre.
