ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) reaffirmed its commitment to supporting communities through social welfare activities and Ramadan charitable measures. The event created a warm sense of togetherness between the company and the community at the Klepean Centre for Humanity Office. The assistance was handed over directly by ASDP’s President Commissioner Achmad Baidowi as a tangible expression of the company’s care to share happiness and blessings of Ramadan, on Saturday, 7 March 2026, at 15:00 WIB. The Chief Executive Officer of ASDP, Heru Widodo, said that Ramadan sharing activities are not merely a social agenda but a reflection of humanitarian values the company continues to uphold. ‘Ramadan is a moment that reminds us all to strengthen care for others. We hope this activity will spread the spirit of togetherness, strengthen the ties of kinship, and bring happiness to the community in this blessed month,’ he said. In implementation, ASDP partnered with the Klepean Centre for Humanity as a collaboration partner to channel aid to the surrounding community. Through this cooperation, ASDP distributed basic food parcels to around 200 participants who attended, including 25 orphans who also received donations. ASDP Corporate Secretary Windy Andale explained that the activity is not only about distributing aid but also designed as a space of togetherness that strengthens social relations. ‘The event series was warm, featuring a sermon on the wisdom of Ramadan followed by a breaking of the fast. We hope this activity not only provides direct benefits for the orphans and the community present but also fosters a broader spirit of empathy and social solidarity,’ Windy added. More than just a social activity, this program is part of ASDP’s commitment to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 1 No Poverty and SDG 10 Reducing Inequality. Abu Hasan, chairman of the Klepean Centre for Humanity, also praised the collaboration with ASDP and hopes similar activities can continue in the future. ‘We hope this positive synergy can be developed so that more people feel the benefits and happiness from sharing activities like this,’ he said. As a national cross-water transportation company, ASDP remains committed to continuing to connect regions and to providing added value to society through sustainable social programs.
