ASDP Records Revenue of Rp 4.96 Trillion in 2025, Pioneer Crossings Up 11%
PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) marked its 53rd anniversary as a moment of reflection on its journey in navigating the increasingly dynamic challenges of the ferry transport industry. Amid operational complexities and high national mobility, safety remains the company’s top priority.
Throughout 2025, ASDP faced several maritime incidents, ranging from accidents and groundings to ship collisions. Nevertheless, the company maintained a ship accident rate of 0.220%, surpassing its target of 0.230%, with a total of five ship accidents for the year.
ASDP President Director Heru Widodo emphasised that safety must be an ingrained work culture in every operational process of the company.
“Safety must not be considered complete. It must be a collective awareness and top priority in every line of our service and operations. Through this 53rd anniversary, we aim to strengthen the spirit that ASDP is not only present to connect islands but also to deliver tangible benefits to society,” said Heru, quoted from his statement on Sunday, 10 April 2026.
As part of the ASDP Berdampak spirit, funds from the Charity Run activities were allocated to various social and environmental programmes, including life jacket assistance to support maritime safety, aid for orphanages, and mangrove planting programmes as efforts for environmental conservation and sustainable development.
On the other hand, ASDP continues to strengthen its role as a connector of the archipelago, particularly in 3TP areas (disadvantaged, frontier, outermost, and border regions). By the end of 2025, ASDP’s pioneer crossing services recorded more than 93,000 trips, a growth of 11% compared to the previous year, exceeding the company’s target.
Vehicle transport also increased by 15% to more than 556,000 units. This achievement reaffirms ASDP’s strategic role not only as a transport operator but also as a binder of connectivity and driver of the national economy.
Positive performance is also reflected in the company’s service and financial aspects. Customer satisfaction reached a score of 3.34 out of a scale of 4, supported by strengthened digital services, staff competency, and increasingly reliable operations. During the Eid al-Fitr and New Year transport periods, ASDP also received appreciation for improved and integrated ferry service management.
