ASDP: Peak Return Traffic on Ketapang-Gilimanuk Route Expected 26-29 March

Banyuwangi (ANTARA) - Deputy Director of PT Indonesia Ferry (Persero), Yossianis Marciano, stated that the peak return flow for Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah on the Ketapang (Banyuwangi)-Gilimanuk (Bali) crossing is predicted to occur on 26-29 March 2026. “We remind the public to be wiser in determining travel times during the return flow,” he said in his statement in Banyuwangi, East Java, on Monday. Furthermore, he added, it is also important to purchase tickets independently through the Ferizy digital platform and to ensure arrival at the port according to the ticket schedule. “Currently, there are no more ticket sales at the port; service users must buy tickets through Ferizy, which is available up to H-60 from departure. Avoid buying from touts or unofficial agents to prevent potential losses,” said Yossi. He conveyed that service users should fill in complete and accurate identity data when booking tickets to support manifest accuracy and maritime safety. The return flow movement up to H+1 Lebaran 2026 on the Bali Strait crossing, said Yossi, is starting to increase, but services at Ketapang Port and Gilimanuk Port remain smooth, orderly, and under optimal control. “Since the weekend, vehicle traffic has moved with a stable rhythm without significant queue spikes; this is also supported by adaptive operational arrangements, fleet readiness, and coordinated service orchestration with other stakeholders,” he stated.
