PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) is introducing discounts on ferry transportation tariffs across several strategic national routes during the 2026 school holiday period. The President Director of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero), Heru Widodo, explained that service users will receive a 100 per cent discount on port service fees, which averages to approximately 21.9 per cent of the total ferry ticket fare.

“The programme applies to trips with departure schedules from 20 June to 5 July 2026, while ticket bookings can be made starting from 6 June 2026,” Heru stated in a briefing on Sunday, 7 June 2026.

He emphasised that this step represents a tangible synergy between ASDP and the government to maintain public purchasing power while strengthening inter-regional connectivity during the holiday season. Heru ensured that ASDP fully supports the government’s stimulus programme to increase public mobility and drive the national economy.

“We hope this policy can help the public enjoy more comfortable, safe, and affordable travel during the school holiday period,” said Heru.

The policy follows the Decree of the Director General of Land Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation, Number PR.501/1/4/ORJD/2026, regarding the implementation of ferry transportation tariff discounts for the 2026 school holiday period.

The stimulus programme is applied to 14 ports serving seven strategic national routes, namely Merak–Bakauheni, Ketapang–Gilimanuk, Lembar–Padangbai, Kayangan–Poto Tano, Tanjung Uban–Telaga Punggur, Ajibata–Ambarita, and Sape–Labuan Bajo. This policy covers services for both foot passengers and vehicles in Group II and Group IVA to support smooth inter-regional mobility.

Specifically for the Merak–Bakauheni route, the tariff stimulus applies to both regular economic and Express services. “The presence of this policy is expected to provide more efficient and affordable travel options on one of Indonesia’s busiest ferry routes,” he added.

For information, all ASDP ticket purchases can currently only be made online via the Ferizy application or the official website trip.ferizy.com, to ensure the service process remains practical and orderly.
