Jakarta - PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) has ensured that ferry connectivity in Aceh remains optimally maintained through fleet adjustments and operational patterns to support public mobility and the smooth distribution of inter-island logistics. “We ensure that ferry services in Aceh continue to run well through the optimisation of the operational fleet,” said PT ASDP Corporate Secretary Windy Andale in a statement in Jakarta on Tuesday. ASDP ensures that ferry services in Aceh continue to run optimally through fleet and operational pattern adjustments, so that inter-island connectivity, which is the lifeblood of community activity, remains well-served, safe, and comfortable. Ferry services are not only a means of transportation but also a vital link for economic activity, logistics distribution, tourism, and social life. Currently, the Ulee Lheue–Balohan crossing route is served by KMP BRR, while KMP Papuyu serves the Ulee Lheue–Lamteung and Ulee Lheue–Serapung routes. The operational adjustment was carried out as a strategic step to ensure that services to the public continue to run while maintaining safety as the top priority. He emphasised that ASDP continues to strive to maintain service quality through the optimisation of available fleet.
