ASDP Ensures Optimal Ferry Connectivity in Aceh

PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) has ensured that ferry connectivity in Aceh remains optimally maintained through adjustments to its fleet and operational patterns to support public mobility and the smooth distribution of inter-island logistics.

“We are ensuring that ferry services in Aceh continue to run well through the optimisation of our operational fleet,” said the Corporate Secretary of PT ASDP, Windy Andale, in a statement in Jakarta on Tuesday.

ASDP is ensuring that ferry services in Aceh remain optimal through fleet and operational adjustments, ensuring that inter-island connectivity, which serves as the lifeblood of community activities, remains well-served, safe, and comfortable.

Ferry services serve not only as a means of transport but also as a vital link for economic activities, logistics distribution, tourism, and social life.

Currently, the Ulee Lheue–Balohan route is served by KMP BRR, while KMP Papuyu serves the Ulee Lheue–Lamteung and Ulee Lheue–Serapung routes.

Operational adjustments have been implemented as a strategic step to ensure continued service to the public while maintaining safety as the top priority.

She emphasised that ASDP continues to strive to maintain service quality through the optimisation of the available fleet.
