ASDP Distributes 2,000 School Packs to Support Youth Education
PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) distributed 2,000 school supply packages to representatives of children in Lampung Province. The distribution took place symbolically at the BSI Mosque in Bakauheni Harbour City, South Lampung.
Chief Executive Director Heru Widodo stated that the programme represents the company’s contribution to supporting Indonesia’s future generation. “Through this programme, ASDP wishes to provide genuine support for children so they maintain their enthusiasm for learning, grow in confidence, and receive equal opportunities to pursue their aspirations. We believe the best investment for the nation is investment in the education of its young generation,” Heru said on Thursday (12 March 2026).
The programme aligns with Danantara Indonesia’s efforts to strengthen the foundation for Indonesia’s future generation. This year, Danantara Indonesia marked one year of its institutional journey through a collective reflection activity held at Wisma Danantara in Jakarta on Tuesday (11 March).
The one-year celebration carried the theme “One Danantara”, reflecting the spirit of all state-owned enterprises moving in unified steps to strengthen the national economic foundation and create wider impact for future generations.
As a symbol of commitment to the nation’s youth, Danantara also symbolically distributed 88,000 school supply packages to children throughout Indonesia. The programme was implemented simultaneously by state-owned enterprises across various regions, including ASDP, to support educational access and prepare Indonesia’s Golden Generation.
President Prabowo Subianto previously gave guidance to all Danantara Indonesia personnel on the importance of maintaining integrity, disciplined governance, and long-term orientation in managing state assets. This aims to strengthen the foundation of national economic development.
Prabowo emphasised that Danantara Indonesia was established to ensure state asset management is conducted professionally and oriented towards the nation’s long-term interests. In doing so, state assets can provide genuine added value for national development and public welfare.
“We are grateful that Indonesia now has a state investment management institution that can be compared with sovereign wealth funds at the global level. In this one year, it is clear that with good management, disciplined governance, and strong commitment, state asset management performance has increased significantly. However, this achievement is just the beginning. Going forward, we must continue to strengthen governance and improve performance so that state asset management truly provides maximum benefits for the Indonesian people,” Prabowo stated.
Danantara Indonesia Chief Executive Officer Rosan Roeslani said the first year of Danantara’s journey focused on building strong institutional and governance foundations. This simultaneously ensures that state investment management remains grounded in creating long-term benefits for the community.
“State asset management must ultimately provide genuine impact for the nation’s future. Therefore, commitment to developing future generations is also an important part of Danantara Indonesia’s journey,” he explained.
Such efforts are reflected not only in strengthening governance and state asset management structures, but also various initiatives. Through these initiatives, Danantara affirms that development results must provide genuine benefits for the community, including for Indonesia’s youth.
Through this one-year milestone, Danantara Indonesia continues to strengthen governance foundations, improve quality of state asset management, and encourage strategic investments that provide long-term economic and social impact for Indonesia.
“This first year is the phase of building foundations. Going forward, our focus is ensuring these foundations are translated into genuine performance through strong governance, professional state asset management, and strategic investments that benefit the national economy and the future of Indonesia’s generation,” Rosan concluded.
The celebration was attended by President Prabowo Subianto, Cabinet Ministers, and leaders and personnel of Danantara.
