PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero), together with 14 other state-owned enterprises, is once again presenting the BUMN Environmental Conservation and Community Empowerment Programme Phase 2, aimed at supporting sustainable development in underdeveloped, frontier, and outermost regions (3T).

ASDP’s President Director, Heru Widodo, stated that the programme, running from 22 to 24 April 2026, is focused on Mutus Village and Manyaifun Village in Raja Ampat Regency, Southwest Papua.

“With an integrated approach encompassing environmental, social, educational, and sustainable community economic strengthening aspects,” Heru said in his statement on Monday, 27 April 2026.

He added that ASDP’s involvement in this programme is part of the company’s commitment to delivering broader benefits to communities, particularly in 3T areas.

Heru further noted that ASDP’s participation demonstrates their commitment not only to providing reliable transportation services but also to actively contributing to environmental preservation and improving community welfare.

“Through this collaboration, we hope to create sustainable impacts and add value for local communities,” he remarked.

In Mutus Village, the programme focuses on ecosystem rehabilitation through the planting of 2,000 mangrove seedlings and 650 coral fragments, accompanied by environmental conservation education for the community.

The programme is also strengthened by diving training and certification for conservation groups, as well as assistance for Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) to enhance institutional capacity and community income. Additionally, electricity access is now available to 119 households, reaching around 500 beneficiaries.

In the education sector, the programme supports the renovation of learning facilities and provision of educational resources at YPK Effata Mutus Primary School and SMPN 11 Raja Ampat.

Meanwhile, in Manyaifun Village, the programme is directed towards strengthening basic infrastructure and social services through electricity provision to 59 households, reaching 117 beneficiaries. The activities also include renovations of public facilities, schools, and places of worship to comprehensively support community quality of life.
