Ascott Bandung Area Holds "Ascott Takes Part Ramadan 2026" to Mark 30 Years of The Ascott Limited Indonesia
In the spirit of sharing during the holy month of Ramadan and commemorating 30 years of The Ascott Limited Indonesia’s journey, the property network in the Bandung region organised a series of social activities titled “Ascott Takes Part Ramadan 2026.” The programme represents both a manifestation of corporate social responsibility and the company’s commitment to continuing to provide positive impact to the community.
The initiative involved six properties under the Ascott Bandung Area banner: HARRIS & POP! Hotel Festival Citylink Bandung, HARRIS Hotel & Convention Ciumbuleuit Bandung, Kimaya Braga Bandung by HARRIS, Oakwood Merdeka Bandung, YELLO Hotel Paskal Bandung, and FOX Lite Hotel Majalaya.
Over three days, the Ascott Bandung Area team visited four different locations to share happiness with the community.
The series of activities commenced with a visit to Tulus Kasih Elderly Care Home. On this occasion, the elderly were invited to enjoy various communal activities such as singing together and motor skill activities including making crochet key chains. The activities proceeded warmly and cheerfully before concluding with a donation presentation and distribution of meal boxes for breaking the fast.
On the same day, activities continued to SLBN Cicendo Special Education School in Bandung City. Here, Ascott Bandung Area organised a fashion show competition involving students and also featured finalists from the West Java Tourism Ambassador pageant. The event proceeded festively with enthusiasm and creativity. In addition to providing donations, the organisers also awarded prizes to competition winners. The series of activities concluded with a joint breaking-of-fast celebration attended by more than 200 participants.
On the second day, the Ascott Bandung Area team visited Azka Orphanage and Community Care and collaborated with Ron88. The activities began with various interactive games that encouraged laughter and togetherness. The children also participated in a colouring competition sponsored by Deli. The atmosphere of celebration then concluded with a joint breaking-of-fast moment.
The series of activities concluded with a visit to Al Fattah Mosque located in Bandung Regency. This activity was organised together with SMKN 1 Soreang vocational school.
The event began with remarks from a representative of the General Manager of Ascott Bandung Area and the school, followed by community service activities to clean the mosque area. This activity was conducted to create a more comfortable worship environment for the surrounding community and students in the school neighbourhood. The activities concluded with distribution of meal boxes for breaking the fast to community members and students who participated.
Through the “Ascott Takes Part Ramadan 2026” activities, Ascott Bandung Area wishes to convey that the meaning of Ramadan is not merely about abstaining from food and drink, but also about increasing care for one another and the surrounding environment.
In addition to sharing happiness with the community, the initiative also encourages all parties to raise awareness of the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness for mutual comfort.
Ascott Bandung Area hopes that social activities such as this can continue and serve as inspiration to strengthen the spirit of sharing, strengthen relationships with the community, and foster a sustainable culture of goodness in the surrounding environment.
