PT Asabri (Persero) is encouraging the use of digital services and providing free health check-ups for hundreds of active participants, retirees, and heirs from the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), National Police (Polri), and civil servants (ASN) within the Ministry of Defence and Police environments in Banda Aceh.

The Head of the Asabri Banda Aceh Branch, Nurcahyono, stated that this activity is a strategic step for the company to strengthen synergy and increase participants’ literacy regarding various insurance programmes and services.

“Through activities like this, we want to ensure that participants continue to feel close to and comfortable with our services. This is a means to strengthen relationships and provide a beneficial experience in a pleasant atmosphere,” said Nurcahyono in an official statement received in Jakarta on Tuesday.

During the event, Asabri introduced and provided education on the company’s digital services, specifically the Asabri Mobile and Asabri STAR applications, which allow participants to access various administrative services digitally.

He explained that participants can perform monthly online authentication via Asabri STAR, while the annual reporting of the Statement of Identity Proof (SPTB) can be completed through the Asprim Mobile application without the need to visit a branch office.

Asabri’s Head of Corporate Communications, Kartika Rahmadayanti, noted that the use of information technology is part of the company’s efforts to provide easier, faster, and more transparent services for participants.

“The presence of these applications is our concrete step towards providing excellent service to our participants,” said Kartika.

According to her, the digitalisation of services is expected to further ease the process for participants to obtain social insurance services, allowing the company to continue providing adaptive services.

In addition to digital service education, the company also provided free health check-up services, including blood pressure and blood sugar level monitoring, for the attending participants.

One participant, Marseila, admitted that digital services simplify the SPTB reporting process as it can be done via smartphone.

“There is no longer a need to fill out manual forms and send them all the way to the Asabri office,” said Marseila.

Furthermore, retired police officer Jarjani stated that the activity was beneficial as participants received information regarding company services while being able to socialise with fellow participants.

“Activities like this not only provide informative benefits but also strengthen the emotional bond between participants and Asabri,” expressed Jarjani.
