Asabri Launches On-site Services for Participants on Enggano Island
PT Asabri (Persero) visited Enggano Island in North Bengkulu Regency, Bengkulu Province, to provide services to active participants and retirees. The visit was conducted via the Asabri Bengkulu Branch Office. During the visit, the company provided programme consultation services, updates of participant data, and education about participants’ rights and benefits. Aidil Fitra Jufri, Head of the Bengkulu Branch Office, said the services on Enggano Island were carried out to ensure participants continue to access services even in remote areas. ‘We want to ensure all participants continue to receive the best services without being hampered by distance and natural conditions. Asabri’s presence on Enggano Island is a form of commitment for us to continue to greet and serve even in the outermost regions of the archipelago,’ Aidil said in a written statement on Tuesday (19 May 2026). Participants noted the on-site services helped reduce barriers to access to the Bengkulu City service office. Bati Tuud Koramil 423-06/Enggano Peltu Pendi Kurniawan said that on-site services in outer regions make it easier for participants to obtain the information they need. ‘We greatly appreciate the presence of ASABRI Bengkulu, which has come directly to Enggano Island to provide services to participants. For us on the outer island, such on-site services are very meaningful because they provide easier access, clear information, and show that attention and care for the soldiers is felt even in remote areas,’ said Pendi. The same sentiment was expressed by Warmarida, wife of late Kopka Suburman. She said she was helped because she could obtain services without leaving Enggano Island. Meanwhile, Serma (Purn) Junaidi said the on-site presence of Asabri in Enggano is not only about administration, but also provides certainty for retirees living in remote areas. ‘For us retirees living on the outer island, Asabri’s presence is not only about administrative services but also a form of care that is truly felt,’ said Junaidi. Asabri described the visit as part of the implementation of state mandates under Government Regulation No. 102 of 2015 as amended by Government Regulation No. 54 of 2020. ‘The transformation and innovations in digital technology that we bring to areas like Enggano are evidence that Asabri continues to adapt, ensuring that all rights of protection for Participants and their families can be managed in a timely manner, at the right address, to the right person, the right amount, and in orderly administration,’ Kartika said.
