Asabri Disburses Over Rp1.4 Trillion in 13th-Month Pension Payments to 500,000 Recipients
State-owned enterprise PT Asabri (Persero) has disbursed over Rp1.4 trillion in 13th-month pension payments to more than 500,000 recipients nationwide in 2026, aiming to safeguard the welfare of retired participants. President Director Jeffry Haryadi P Manullang stated that the payment fulfils a state mandate while providing economic assurance for those who have completed their service. “This 13th-month pension payment is our responsibility to the nation’s heroes,” Jeffry said in a written statement received in Jakarta on Monday. The payments were made to Asabri participants who are retirees, pension recipients, and allowance beneficiaries in accordance with prevailing laws and regulations. He explained that the disbursement was carried out based on Government Regulation No. 9 of 2026 concerning the Provision of Holiday Allowance and 13th-Month Salary to State Apparatus, Pensioners, Pension Recipients, and Allowance Recipients in 2026, as well as Minister of Finance Regulation No. 13 of 2026 on Technical Guidelines for the Payment of Holiday Allowance and 13th-Month Salary sourced from the State Budget. Asabri collaborated with 13 payment partner institutions and monitored the process through 33 branch offices across various regions to ensure smooth distribution. According to Jeffry, the company applies a 5T service principle—timely, right person, right amount, right address, and orderly administration—in every benefit payment process to participants. As the social insurance manager for TNI soldiers, Polri members, and civil servants within the Ministry of Defence and Polri, Asabri continues to strengthen its services through information technology utilisation and good corporate governance. The 13th-month salary disbursement has been well received by pension recipients. Retired Chief Petty Officer Joko Mulyono in Ternate confirmed the payment process ran smoothly without any obstacles. “Alhamdulillah, the receipt of the 13th-month salary in the North Maluku region, Ternate City, has been safe, smooth, and without any issues so far,” he said. Henny Hendriani, widow of retired Lieutenant Colonel Djoko Subandrio, said the additional income was very helpful. “Thank you to the government and Asabri. I am very grateful; I can now treat myself, buy vitamins, and especially provide for my grandchildren,” she said. Asabri considers the 13th-month salary payment to be aligned with the government’s efforts to strengthen the welfare of state apparatus and pensioners as part of support for the national defence and security system.
