As Wells Run Dry, Clean Water Aid Arrives for Depok Residents

The Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of Depok City distributed clean water aid to dozens of families in RW 08, Cipayung Jaya Village, Depok City, West Java, on Wednesday (29/7/2026). The assistance was provided to help residents experiencing a clean water crisis due to the dry season, which has caused water supplies in the settlement to dwindle. PMI officers facilitated the water distribution process to ensure it was orderly and equitable for the residents. The clean water aid has become an urgent necessity for the community after their local water supply diminished during the dry season. The distribution is expected to meet the basic needs of the residents until water supplies return to normal. PMI Depok City continues to coordinate with the local government to assist communities affected by the clean water crisis during the dry season.
