JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Head of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP), Retired General TNI Dudung Abdurrahman, has promised to serve as a liaison between the public and the government, including accommodating public complaints.

Dudung stated that he will accept reports from the public 24 hours a day while evaluating and monitoring the programmes implemented by the government.

“As KSP, I will naturally act as a bridge between the public and the government, so that any complaints will be addressed by opening reports from the public 24 hours a day, including evaluating and monitoring the programmes of ministries and agencies, as well as collaborating with ministries and regional governments,” Dudung said after being inaugurated as KSP at the State Palace in Jakarta on Monday (27/4/2026).

This former Army Chief of Staff wants to ensure that President Prabowo’s priority programmes are not hindered.

“So that there are no issues arising from bureaucratic problems that affect the President’s priorities. We will streamline the bureaucracy,” Dudung said.

Dudung also invited relevant ministries and agencies to report if any of the President’s priority programmes are not running properly.

“We will conduct inspections and resolve them properly,” said the former Army Chief of Staff.

It is known that President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto inaugurated Special Presidential Advisor for Defence, Dudung Abdurrahman, as Head of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP).

Dudung replaces M Qodari, who now serves as head of the Government Communication Agency.
