As Head of KSP, Dudung to Open 24-Hour Public Complaints Line

Jakarta – The Head of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP), retired TNI General Dudung Abdurachman, stated that his role is to ensure that the programmes of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto are carried out thoroughly and expeditiously. Additionally, as KSP, he also promised to act as a liaison between the public and the government. “As KSP, I will certainly serve as a bridge between the public and the government,” Dudung told reporters at the State Palace in Central Jakarta on Monday, 27 April 2026. Dudung also promised to open public complaint reports around the clock while evaluating and monitoring programmes from ministries and agencies. “I will open 24-hour reports for public complaints, including evaluating and monitoring programmes from ministries and agencies, as well as collaborating with ministries and local governments,” he said. This former Army Chief of Staff also promised to cut problematic bureaucracy. He does not want the president’s priority programmes to be hindered. “So that there are no issues with bureaucracy hindering the president’s priorities. We will streamline the bureaucracy,” he explained. Furthermore, Dudung asked ministries and agencies to report if any government programmes are not running properly. “Once again, I request cooperation from the entire public and all institutions; if there are any KSP programmes not running as they should, we will conduct inspections and resolve them,” Dudung concluded. Previously reported, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated Dudung Abdurachman, his special advisor on national defence, as Head of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP), replacing M Qodari, at the State Palace in Central Jakarta on Monday, 27 April 2026. Meanwhile, Qodari has shifted from Head of KSP to Head of the Communication Agency (Bakom). The inauguration ceremony began with the singing of Indonesia Raya. It was then followed by the reading of the presidential decree on the appointment of the officials being sworn in. Afterwards, President Prabowo led the oath of office, which was followed by Qodari and Dudung Abdurachman.
