As Eid Al-Fitr Approaches, Artha Graha Peduli Launches Affordable Market Programme
Jakarta — Artha Graha Peduli (AGP) is continuing its subsidised affordable market programme, which has been running since 11 December 2025 across various regions of Indonesia. The programme is implemented continuously in areas surrounding Artha Graha Network business units through Artha Graha Peduli’s service areas, as an effort to help the public obtain essential goods at more affordable prices.
As the final week of Ramadan approaches and Eid Al-Fitr draws near, Artha Graha Peduli is expanding the programme’s scope, particularly in the Jabodetabek region, by introducing additional strategic food commodities. In addition to subsidised basic commodity packages, AGP is also conducting market operations for several food items that frequently experience price increases ahead of the holiday.
Through this initiative, the public can obtain frozen meat at 70,000 rupiah per kilogram and chicken eggs at 25,000 rupiah per kilogram through meat operation and market operation schemes, which form part of Artha Graha Peduli’s affordable market programme. These prices are below government reference prices, and are expected to help the public obtain food items at more affordable prices ahead of Eid Al-Fitr.
During the same period, AGP also provides kitchen commodity packages consisting of red bird’s eye chilli, curly red chilli, and shallots at 50,000 rupiah per package. This package is offered to help the public meet their cooking ingredient needs, which typically increase ahead of Eid Al-Fitr.
The affordable market programme is implemented in phases using a door-to-door approach, whereby Artha Graha Peduli teams visit communities directly. This approach aims to ensure that the distribution of subsidised commodities reaches residents more closely and targets the intended beneficiaries effectively.
“This affordable market programme represents Artha Graha Peduli’s commitment to helping the public obtain essential goods at more affordable prices. Ahead of Eid Al-Fitr, we are also adding several important commodities such as chilli, shallots, meat, and eggs so that the public can experience the direct benefits of this programme,” said Riyan Yektono, head of AGP’s affordable market programme, in a statement on Sunday (15 March 2026).
Artha Graha Peduli has emphasised that this subsidised affordable market programme will continue and be adjusted to meet the needs of communities in various regions. Through the affordable market, market operations, and meat operations conducted ahead of Eid Al-Fitr, AGP hopes to help maintain food price stability whilst supporting the public’s purchasing power.
