As 2026 Exodus Approaches, Pertamina Lubricants Launches Oil Change Services and Rest Points Along Pantura Route
Public mobility during Ramadan and Eid is projected to increase significantly. Based on the Ministry of Transportation’s Survey of Potential Movement for Lebaran 2026, traffic leaving Jakarta is estimated to reach 3.67 million vehicles, whilst traffic entering Jakarta is projected to reach 3.54 million vehicles.
The high volume of vehicles has the potential to extend travel times for returning travellers. Combined with congested traffic conditions and stop-and-go situations, vehicles will work harder than usual. Therefore, vehicle preparation before the exodus is important, including checks on tyre pressure and condition, braking systems, radiator fluid, battery, vehicle lights, wipers, and crucially, oil condition.
“The safety and comfort of returning travellers is paramount. We always remind the public to conduct thorough vehicle checks before departing, including oil condition. Oil functions to maintain engine temperature and protect components from wear,” explained Nugroho Setyo Utomo, VP Marketing at PT Pertamina Lubricants.
“During long journeys with congested traffic conditions, engine load increases. If the oil is not in prime condition, vehicle performance can be compromised and make the journey less comfortable,” he added.
Recognising these needs, PT Pertamina Lubricants has launched various Ramadan and Eid (RAFI) 2026 programmes under the theme “Sharing Energy, Protecting Every Journey.” Pertamina Lubricants is present not only through flagship products such as Fastron and Enduro, but also through services relevant to the needs of returning travellers, ranging from vehicle maintenance services to comfortable rest facilities.
“Because every homecoming journey is not merely about mobility, but a journey towards togetherness, hope, and family happiness. With a spirit of serving wholeheartedly and protecting every journey, Pertamina Lubricants is ready to be part of the story of Indonesia’s returning travellers,” said Nugroho.
The following RAFI programmes from Pertamina Lubricants have been prepared to reach returning travellers across several cities and exodus routes.
