Aruan to defend OPBF title

JAKARTA (JP): Boy Aruan will defend his Orient and Pacific
Boxing Federation (OPBF) bantamweight title against South Korean
Chang Kyun-oh at the Senayan Basketball Hall on Jan. 19, promoter
Tourino Tidar said yesterday.

Tidar believes 23-year-old Aruan, now holder of the first rank
in the bantamweight category, will win because his Korean
opponent, ranked second, is 10 years older.

"I think a loss would be impossible ... I may even go as far
as to guarantee our boxer will win because in this match, I see
that victory will depend on who is the fitter," Tidar said. (arf)
