Universitas Nusa Mandiri (UNM) students have once again achieved a proud milestone. The Artholic Studio business team from the Digital Business Study Programme successfully secured funding from the Student Entrepreneurial Development Programme (P2MW) 2026, organised by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemendiktisaintek). This success opens the opportunity for the team to advance to the Indonesian Student Competition (KMI) Expo 2026, the most prestigious national-level student entrepreneurship event. In 2026, Kemendiktisaintek approved 3,005 student proposals from 570 higher education institutions across Indonesia. Amidst the intense competition, Artholic Studio’s business proposal captured attention through its innovation of creative products made from Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF), which offer economic value while being environmentally friendly. The Artholic Studio team consists of Syafa Nabila Puteri Syam as team leader, along with Mela Octaviani, Kencana Eka Nayla, Haibatus Shonya, and Muhammad Syah Reza. They develop various creative products such as plaques, wall decorations, graduation gifts, and custom products designed according to customer needs. Not only prioritising creativity and aesthetics, Artholic Studio also embraces a sustainability concept by utilising processed wood materials into value-added products that respond to market trends for personal and eco-friendly creative goods. Team leader Syafa Nabila Puteri Syam expressed gratitude for the trust given through the P2MW 2026 funding. ‘Alhamdulillah, we are very grateful to be one of the teams receiving P2MW 2026 funding. This opportunity motivates us to continue developing Artholic Studio, improve product quality, expand marketing, and prepare for the KMI Expo 2026. We want to prove that student work can compete and provide added value to society,’ she said. During the business development process, the team received mentoring from Johan Hendri Prasetyo as supervising lecturer. He considers P2MW a strategic means for students to understand real business processes, from idea validation and business model formulation to marketing strategy and sustainable business management. ‘P2MW is an excellent platform for building students’ entrepreneurial mentality and competence. This success proves that students can transform creative ideas into businesses with economic value and opportunities to grow in a wider market,’ said Johan. Head of the Digital Business Study Programme at Universitas Nusa Mandiri, Lia Mazia, stated that this achievement demonstrates the successful implementation of project-based learning applied within the programme. ‘We continuously encourage students to become opportunity creators and job creators by strengthening entrepreneurial competence, innovation, and the use of digital technology. Artholic Studio’s success proves that Digital Business students at Universitas Nusa Mandiri not only understand business theory but are also able to implement it into a real, competitive business,’ said Lia in a release received on Tuesday (16/6/2026). According to her, this success reinforces the Digital Business Study Programme’s commitment to building a campus entrepreneurship ecosystem capable of producing young entrepreneurs who are innovative, creative, and adaptive to technological developments. ‘Artholic Studio’s qualification for P2MW 2026 funding is the first step towards a larger target, namely the KMI Expo 2026. We are optimistic that this team can show its best performance, expand its business network, and bring honour to Universitas Nusa Mandiri at the national level,’ said Lia. Participation in the KMI Expo will be a strategic opportunity for students to interact with industry players, investors, business communities, and fellow young entrepreneurs from various universities across Indonesia. ‘As a Digital Business Campus, UNM continues to integrate entrepreneurial strengthening into the learning process through various coaching programmes, startup mentoring, and business competitions. This effort aligns with the campus’s commitment to producing graduates who are not only ready to work but also capable of creating jobs and making a real contribution to innovation-based economic growth,’ said Lia. Artholic Studio’s success is evidence that Digital Business students at Universitas Nusa Mandiri can compete, innovate, and are ready to achieve higher accolades on the national stage through the KMI Expo 2026.
