Artha Graha provides affordable meat and chilli ahead of Eid in Jabodetabek
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Artha Graha Peduli (AGP) is providing food commodities including meat, chicken eggs, raw chilli and garlic at discounted prices ahead of Eid 2026 to help residents of Jabodetabek obtain essential goods at more affordable rates.
Through the subsidised Cheap Market Programme that has been running since 11 December 2025, residents of Jabodetabek can obtain frozen meat at Rp70,000 per kilogram (kg) and chicken eggs at Rp25,000 per kg through meat operation and market operation schemes.
Riyan Yektono, Executive Chair of AGP’s Cheap Market Programme, stated in Jakarta on Monday that the initiative aims to assist residents in obtaining food staples at more affordable prices ahead of Eid.
The Cheap Market Programme represents Artha Graha Peduli’s commitment to helping residents obtain essential goods at more reasonable prices.
“As Eid approaches, we are also adding essential commodities such as chilli, garlic, meat and eggs so that residents can experience direct benefits from this programme,” he said.
During the same period, AGP is also providing kitchen commodity packages comprising red raw chilli, curly red chilli and shallots at Rp50,000 per package. These packages are being offered to help residents meet their cooking ingredient needs, which typically increase ahead of Eid.
The cheap market operations are conducted in phases using a “door-to-door” approach with AGP teams directly visiting communities. This approach ensures that subsidised commodity distribution can reach residents more closely and target those most in need.
The subsidised Cheap Market Programme will continue and be adjusted according to community needs in various areas.
Through cheap market activities, market operations and meat operations conducted ahead of Eid, AGP hopes to help maintain food price stability whilst supporting the purchasing power of residents across Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi (Jabodetabek).
