Artha Graha Cares Supports Siliwangi Santri Camp 2026
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDUNG - The series of events for the Siliwangi Santri Camp (SSC) 2026, held at the Rindam III/Siliwangi headquarters on Jalan Menado in Bandung, was officially closed on Sunday (19/4/2026). This programme serves as a strategic momentum in promoting the empowerment of santri, particularly in the fields of food security and financial inclusion.
The organising committee chairman, Sulhan, expressed appreciation to all parties who contributed to the success of this event. He emphasised that SSC 2026 is not merely ceremonial but designed as a sustainable programme for pesantren.
“As a form of appreciation, we distributed 1,500 aid packages to 1,000 santri, 115 supervisors, and media colleagues. In the future, participants will also receive guidance from the Ministry of Agriculture to strengthen food self-sufficiency in pesantren environments,” he stated.
Sulhan added that collaboration with the banking sector has opened up financial access for the santri. Through partnership with Bank Artha Graha Internasional, 1,000 santri were facilitated in opening savings accounts as an initial step towards building financial literacy and independence.
The success of SSC 2026 is inseparable from the support of various parties, including Artha Graha Peduli along with the Artha Graha Network and Electronic City Indonesia.
A representative of Artha Graha Peduli through Bank Artha Graha Internasional’s Asia Afrika Branch in Bandung, Dewi Kasmara, stated that this support represents a commitment to building an independent young generation.
“The santri are the nation’s successor generation who have a strategic role in the future. We are proud to contribute to this event, while also promoting early financial literacy,” said Dewi.
A representative of Electronic City Indonesia, Joko Susanto, said that with the organisation of Siliwangi Santri Camp 2026, his side is committed to providing comprehensive solutions for household equipment needs to the community.
“Electronic City is proud to be part of Siliwangi Santri Camp 2026. Through this agenda, we commit to providing a variety of solutions for electronic devices and comprehensive household equipment needs to the community with excellent service and many benefits, especially for santri and Bandung residents.”
This cross-sector collaboration is realised through various forms of support, from aid distribution to strengthening sustainable programmes for pesantren.
Aid Packages for Santri
A total of 1,500 aid packages were distributed to 1,000 santri, 115 supervisors, and media colleagues. The packages contain basic necessities as well as educational support such as plant seeds to encourage food self-sufficiency in pesantren environments.
In addition, the financial literacy programme presented through Bank Artha Graha Internasional provides ease of banking access for santri, including account opening schemes for those without ID cards through parental or guardian assistance. This education also covers understanding financial management and vigilance against cybercrime risks.
In the future, Artha Graha Peduli together with partners will continue to strengthen cross-sector collaboration to promote pesantren independence, both economically and in terms of food security.
