Art expo at Sahid Jaya

JAKARTA (JP): Sahid Jaya Hotel will host an exhibition of art from West Nusa Tenggara from March 25 to April 6.

Artisans and designers, including I Wayan Pengsong, Bing Gianto and Elly Karim, will take part in the exhibition.

"The art works to be displayed, including twenty paintings by I Wayan Pengsong and pearl accessories, are worth more than Rp 350 million," Bing Sugianto, the designer who chairs the organizing committee, was quoted as saying by Antara in Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara, yesterday.

The exhibition is being held to better promote and market the province's artists and their works. (sur)
