by four women artists: Astari Rasjid, Judy Emery, Mella Jaarsma,
and Rotrautmodem Pappe. The others are Acep Zamzam Noor, Anusapati,
Geoff Todd, Geh Beng Kwan, Pintor Sirait and Teguh Ostenrik. The
works include sculpture, painting and video art.

Extended until Feb. 22

Art books are by no means a new phenomenon, but these are
paintings created and displayed in a book format at this
experimental gallery which has roots in the banned newsweekly,
Tempo. This exhibition features the works of Agus Suwage, an up-
and-coming artist who has participated in a number of prestigious
international art exhibitions, among others the 2nd Contemporary
Art Triennial in Brisbane, Queensland (Australia) and the 6th
Biennial in Havana, Cuba. Two works remain on display, while the
rest have been sent to Tokyo and Hiroshima, Japan, for
exhibition.
