Arsenal to play Thailand on tour

BANGKOK (Reuters): English champion Arsenal will play Thailand
in May as part of an Asian summer tour, officials said on Friday.

The date of the match depends on the outcome of Arsenal's F.A.
Cup semifinal clash with Manchester United on April 11, said
Pongsak Pholanan, managing director of organizer Siam Sports Co
Ltd.

"If Arsenal goes through to the F.A. Cup final on May 22, the
game against the national squad will be on May 25. If they lose,
it will be played on May 19," he told Reuters.

Pongsak said Arsenal would field a full-strength team for the
Asian tour, which would also include a visit to Malaysia.
