Army Chief of Staff urges young officers to provide the best service to the nation and people
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Indonesian Army Chief of Staff General TNI Maruli Simanjuntak has urged the young officers (Paja) of the TNI AD, graduates of the Officer Formation Education (Diktukpa), to provide the best service to the nation and society. According to Maruli, this must be done so that the presence of TNI soldiers among the people can have a positive impact on society and national security. “I remind you all, we are proud and we hope for your dedication going forward. I want in the time ahead to receive good news, extraordinary news about what you do for the country, for the nation, and for the surrounding community wherever you are assigned,” said Maruli to the officers during the graduation ceremony for Diktukpa Batch I of the 2026 Fiscal Year at Wiradhika Field, Secapaad, Bandung, on Thursday (30/4). He continued that all those responsibilities, said Maruli, must be shouldered well using the knowledge learned during the education period. During the education, the young officers were required to continuously develop leadership abilities, enhance professionalism, and maintain the honour of the TNI AD institution. With that foundation, Maruli is confident that the young officers will deliver their best performance as future leaders of the TNI AD. According to records received, 1,202 young officers graduated from the education.
