The peak phase of Hajj in Arafah, Muzdalifah, and Mina (Armuzna) has officially concluded. Indonesian Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah (Wamenhaj), Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak, confirmed all Indonesian Hajj pilgrims who opted for Nafar Tsani have left Mina and returned to their respective hotels in Mecca.

“Today marks the departure of pilgrims undertaking Nafar Tsani. This is the final group, following yesterday’s Nafar Awal departures. All our pilgrims who completed the stoning ritual, whether Nafar Awal or Nafar Tsani, have now finished their duties,” Dahnil Anzar stated while inspecting the final movement of pilgrims in Mina on Saturday (30 May 2026).

Dahnil emphasised that by 3pm Arabian Standard Time (AST), the Indonesian pilgrims’ campsite in Mina was confirmed empty. No pilgrims remained in the tents.

“All our Hajj pilgrims have left Mina. Mina is now clear of our pilgrims. They have returned to their hotels and are preparing for further activities in the Holy Land,” he said.

Generally, Dahnil claimed the Armuzna phase this year proceeded smoothly. He noted significant improvements and notable management changes in this year’s Hajj operations.

“Alhamdulillah, we have successfully navigated the Armuzna phase with several significant advancements and changes,” he added.

Despite claiming progress, Dahnil acknowledged some issues on the ground. He stated that several red flags had been recorded, which will be thoroughly evaluated internally by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, from tent arrangements to transportation schemes. According to Republika’s on-ground observations, some pilgrims repeatedly lost their way while searching for their tents, both within and outside the main camp.

“We have received feedback from various parties. Regarding services at Mina tents, Arafah tents, as well as accommodation management in Muzdalifah and the procession, these will be part of our evaluation,” Dahnil said.
