Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak stated that the peak Hajj phase in Arafah, Muzdalifah, and Mina (Armuzna) has concluded, with all Indonesian pilgrims who undertook nafar tsani having departed Mina. The statement was made during his inspection of the final movement of Indonesian Hajj pilgrims in Mina, Makkah, on Saturday, corresponding to 13 Dhu al-Hijjah 1447 H. ‘Today marks the departure of pilgrims undertaking nafar tsani. This is the final group, following the earlier departure of nafar awal pilgrims yesterday. This means all our pilgrims who completed the stoning of the Jamarat, whether for nafar awal or nafar tsani, have now finished,’ he said. The Deputy Minister confirmed that by 15:00 Saudi Arabia Time (SAT), all Indonesian Hajj pilgrims had departed Mina. All Indonesian pilgrims’ tents in Mina were vacated with no one left behind. According to Wamenhaj, the Armuzna phase this year generally proceeded smoothly. He noted significant improvements in services and management changes in this year’s Hajj organisation. However, he acknowledged several key points requiring evaluation by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, particularly regarding services in Arafah and Mina tents, and the management of overnight stays (mabit) in Muzdalifah under the murur scheme. ‘We have received feedback from various parties. Regarding services in Mina tents, Arafah tents, and mabit management in Muzdalifah and murur, these will be part of our evaluation,’ Wamenhaj said. On behalf of the ministry, Dahnil apologised to Indonesian Hajj pilgrims for any shortcomings, errors, or subpar services during the peak Armuzna phase. ‘On behalf of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, we apologise. There were some issues, mistakes, and oversights during the peak Armuzna phase. All shortcomings are our responsibility,’ Dahnil stated. The Deputy Minister also expressed gratitude to Indonesian pilgrims for their discipline in Mina and to all staff who dedicated themselves to serving them. ‘Once again, thank you to the pilgrims for their discipline. Thank you to all staff who dedicated themselves in Mina. May our efforts be blessed by Allah SWT,’ he said. Dahnil added that after the Armuzna phase, the Hajj organisation will enter the repatriation phase for pilgrims returning to Indonesia. During this phase, he requested all staff to continue working diligently, maintaining hotel services, and showing sympathy and empathy towards pilgrims. ‘After this, we enter the repatriation phase. We ask all staff to remain committed, responsive at hotels, and maintain sympathy and empathy towards pilgrims,’ Dahnil said. The Deputy Minister also urged Hajj Guidance Groups (KBIHU) and all Indonesian pilgrims to remain orderly while awaiting departure. Pilgrims were advised to maintain health and avoid excessive activities outside hotels. ‘We urge KBIHU leading pilgrims and all pilgrims to remain orderly. Avoid excessive activities to ensure health is maintained until returning to Indonesia,’ Dahnil said.
