Armuzna Coordination Meeting Held in Mecca, PPIH Prepares Peak Hajj Services
The Saudi Arabian Hajj Organising Committee (PPIH) held the inaugural coordination meeting for operational preparations for the peak Hajj in Arafah, Muzdalifah, and Mina (Armuzna) at the Mecca Representative Office in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, on Tuesday (28 April 2026). This first meeting was conducted to ensure readiness for the peak Hajj operations in Armuzna. “We must ensure maximum services for Hajj pilgrims, therefore officers must prepare all aspects to the maximum,” stated Syarif Rahman, Head of Transportation of PPIH Saudi Arabia, who led the meeting, on Tuesday (28 April 2026). To ensure pilgrims can worship safely, the committee also discussed protection for Hajj pilgrims, including the flow of pilgrim movements. Healthcare services, which are crucial during the peak Hajj, were also addressed in the meeting. Considering that Armuzna involves highly physically demanding worship rituals. On 27 May 2026, Eid al-Adha will be celebrated in Indonesia. Then, 28-30 May 2026 will be the Days of Tashriq (Nafar Awal and Nafar Tsani). The repatriation of the first wave of Hajj pilgrims to Indonesia will begin on 1 June 2026 until 30 June 2026.
