Semarang (ANTARA) - The chairman of the PKB faction in the Blora Regency House of Representatives, Central Java, Mustopa, has affirmed that all cadres and officials of the National Awakening Party (PKB) are ready to support and oversee the new leadership of Arief Rohman as the definitive chairman of the PKB Blora branch executive board for the 2026–2031 period. According to Mustopa, contacted in Blora on Friday, the appointment of Arief Rohman, who is also the Regent of Blora, as chairman of the PKB Blora branch is an official decision of the party’s Central Executive Board (DPP) that must be respected and implemented by all party ranks in the region. “This is a DPP PKB decision that applies nationally. We are all ready to support and oversee the new leadership for the advancement of PKB Blora,” Mustopa said. He assessed that the solidarity and loyalty of cadres are key to the party’s success in facing future political agendas. Therefore, all elements of PKB are urged to maintain cohesiveness following the leadership transition. In the near future, Mustopa added, PKB Blora will form a new management structure involving various party elements, from the branch board, sub-branch boards, and autonomous bodies to the PKB faction in the Blora Regency House of Representatives. Meanwhile, the chairman of the PKB Blora branch for the 2016–2019 and 2019–2026 periods, Abdul Hakim, known as Gus Hakim, conveyed his congratulations to Arief Rohman on the mandate given by the DPP PKB. He is optimistic the new leadership will help PKB Blora grow further and strengthen its position within the community. “I congratulate Mr Arief Rohman on the mandate bestowed upon him. PKB Blora has been running well, and I am confident that under his leadership it will continue to develop and become even stronger,” said Gus Hakim. According to him, leadership succession is a normal part of the cadre development process within a party organisation. Besides maintaining the continuity of the struggle, the new leadership is also expected to bring fresh energy to address future political challenges. Gus Hakim added that the biggest challenge for the new board is increasing the number of legislative seats in the upcoming elections. “If merely maintaining the current seats is already difficult, then adding seats certainly requires much harder work. However, I am confident PKB Blora has the strength and resources to realise that target,” he said.
