Arebi to go Internet
JAKARTA (JP): The Association of Indonesian Real Estate Brokers (Arebi) plans to launch a property marketing media using Internet technology, called multi-listing service Arebi-net (MLS Arebi-net).
Arebi chairwoman Cynthia G. Sonneville said her association would launch MLS Arebi-net next Monday, in conjunction with its fourth anniversary.
"This service will be on line for 24 hours and will increase the probability of property sales," Santoso Sutrisno, a member of Arebi's advisory council, said yesterday.
He said property brokers could use the service as a cheap, efficient way to file and access property data. "But only brokers who are Arebi members can use the marketing service. The others must become members first," he said.
Cynthia said Arebi would hold a seminar next Monday on property marketing strategies which will be addressed by Pande Radja Silalahi of the Centre for Strategic and International Studies, Hermawan Kartadjaya of Mark-Plus, State Minister of Public Housing Akbar Tandjung and others. (bnt)
