AREA Indonesia embraces housing ecosystem to realise three million homes programme

AREA Indonesia has affirmed its commitment as a property and real estate professional organisation to embrace the entire housing ecosystem, enabling it to grow and develop together, particularly in realising the three million homes programme.

AREA Indonesia President Indra Utama stated that the organisation was not established to compete with existing bodies but to serve as a big home for the entire housing and property ecosystem to grow and develop together. “AREA Indonesia was not formed to rival but to unite strengths, build synergy, and become a bridge for collaboration across the Indonesian property ecosystem so that it can provide greater benefits for society and the nation,” Indra said.

He noted that the challenge of providing decent, quality, and affordable housing cannot be solved by a single organisation or sector alone. It requires close collaboration between the government, business players, financial institutions, academics, media, professional associations, and the community.

Therefore, AREA Indonesia will open the widest possible space for collaboration with developer associations, property agent organisations, the building materials industry, financing and banking institutions, property management companies, academics, media, and all other stakeholders together with the government. This synergy is expected to accelerate the growth of the national property sector while supporting the realisation of the government’s housing development target, which is a flagship programme of President Prabowo.

“AREA Indonesia is optimistic that it can become a catalyst for national collaboration that produces superior human resources, a healthy industry, and increasingly quality housing for all Indonesian people,” said Indra, who also serves as Vice Chairman of PWI Jaya for Education.
